Session focus
The founding session established the seminar form: the guest did not simply explain the primary text, but opened it from a distinct theoretical position. The group then used that intervention as a lens for close discussion.
An intervention from critical psychology, psychoanalysis and political organisation.

Ian Parker is a critical psychologist and psychoanalytic theorist whose work connects discourse analysis, Lacanian psychoanalysis, Marxism and political organisation. He is co-director of the Discourse Unit and has been a central figure in critical psychology, radical mental health and the international development of psychoanalysis as a resource for liberation movements.
