Dr. Lois Holzman

Lois Holzman is a developmental psychologist, co-founder and director of the East Side Institute, and a leading voice in social therapeutics, performance activism and Vygotskian practice. Her work explores play, performance, improvisation and collective activity as ways of creating new possibilities for human development.

What happens when the spectator becomes a participant, and performance becomes a practice of development?
