Session focus
Professor Michael Cole will join a session on Cultural Psychology and the later development of his work. The book will serve as the core text, with one or two subsequent papers selected to show how the inquiry has continued since the book was published.
The session will focus on culture, mediation, cognition, development and the design of learning environments, including the movement from studying development to creating conditions in which development becomes possible.
